The Old Git Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Where do I complain? For the first time ever I might be mildly inconvenienced by it I'm a bit confused about where SS4 actually starts. The leaflet through the door suggests is starts a fair bit earlier than is shown on the map.
When Skies Are Grey Posted September 13, 2017 Author Posted September 13, 2017 I would imagine its past the houses down towards the bus shelter.....but not 100% sure I am afraid. Apologies for the mild inconvenience :-)
The Old Git Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 That's where is usually starts, but leaflet seems to suggest it's been pulled back to somewhere my Gandhi's / Majestic Apartments Ah well, some excitement to look forward to tomorrow. Will we be trapped in? Not that we go out anyway...

The Old Git Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 We're all in it together. I might have to work out an escape route through someone's garden on to the coastal path. Or just stay in, like I normally do
When Skies Are Grey Posted September 14, 2017 Author Posted September 14, 2017 Stay in. Going out is overrated!

After all, we could be cut off for five or six hours Used to do marshalling, recovery and media back in the day. Good fun.
dilligaf Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 Just been down with my son to the Villa to watch for an hour. Brilliant Missed the first 45-50, but caught most of the escorts and minis etc ( and that Opal Kadett !!!! FQ). Pure music to the ears. Hope it's fine tomorrow, I want to see a lot more this year.

Was watching at Keristal this afternoon and very much enjoyed the spot too, first time I've spectated there. Was talking to a bloke who said that the stage you refer to SS4 had to be shortened by 1/4 - 1/2 a mile because a homeowner had complained ( sad bastard). I said that I wondered if it was some "old git" and he said more than likely................... SO ? ...............................Fess up now !
TheTeapot Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Went to castletown square for a bit tonight, fair few people down. Kids got a go on the rally simulator and a free hat which was nice.

Castletown was totes maze, we started watching over by the bridge but it was too busy so we quickly moved over to by the toilets, then went to the little road by the side of the castle, then we went to the square, then went to the road that goes to the road with the bowling green on by Buchan - bloody great rally 100% entertaining.
