In my experience of chasing debtors the coroners were absolutely useless. They didn’t used to be 30 years ago, but they gradually became more and more useless. It was ok getting execution through the small claims process but then it was a dead end.

I sometimes use the tram to go from home to the Mines in Laxey as the once a day 13 bus service doesn't run anymore. Last time I was on the 13 the driver was reeling off all the names of the passengers on the route who'd died over the years. I asked to get off at the next stop 😂

Tynwald isn’t the government, it’s the parliament. I don’t think they have network and support staff. I did some work on the original Tynwald site and was initially a bit puzzled by the separation.

It had been dispatched from the USA and somehow ended up on a Mexican island.

That does my head in. It seems to only work if I’ve taken my glasses of but it often pops up a message and I have to put my glasses back on to read it and then try again.

Online banking seem to check the sort code and account number match the name of the person or company you’re paying. They generally report a match or close match for any new payments I’ve had to make
