They never went in thirsty pigeon so not sure why they’re shutting

Come on.  You must see it

(Caveat.  These places have all literally just hit their quietest 4 weeks of the year.  Maybe closing and getting possible government help is a bonus and would they have done the same four weeks ago?)

Let's give them the benefit of the doubt.

Massive dent in their profits   they would have e been packed this weekend after Christmas in January when people are partied out, short of cash, and starting their new year resolutions

I think it's nothing short of pigheaded to assume these businesses are in it for a bit of extra cash. The Manx Government weren't exactly making it rain cash, they were helping some places keep the lights on, but that's it.

Just saying that if you had to close a pub or club, you couldn't do it on a better day.

Lots close for January anyway, and that maybe they wouldn't have been so "community minded" if it was the start of December or a normal tt week.

2 more locations identified. Not sure why it took this long to ask these people where they went.

Is Manx Radio going to actually say the locations? (or just continue making some reference to their website)?
