swoopy2110 Posted June 19 Posted June 19 They miffed a few off too by changing the "concession" age ticket price for the forthcoming season without saying anything (Used to be 60. Now 65). 2 people I know had season tickets aren't renewing this season and will likely go to less games as a result of individual purchasing. Others on Facebook also raised it with no reply. Quote

b4mbi Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Let's ignore that it brings over 2,500 visitors to the Island mostly during slower tourist months and using DfE's own metrics, brings c. £1.4million to the local economy. Let's ignore what it does in the community Let's ignore the opportunities and aspirations for younger players Let's ignore it's run almost entirely by volunteers, the players/manager/board/stewards are all unpaid. Let's ignore that over £25k per season is actually given back to DESC for hire of the Bowl. Let's ignore the team are fantastic ambassadors for the Island Let's ignore £10.1m budgeted spend for Motorsport 24/25 - FCIOM underwrite is 0.5% of that. Let's ignore.... you and your myopic, simplistic view. 2 1 Quote
