Cobb wanted to improve matters of that I have no doubt. His successor is a consumate bureaucrat who loves rules and regulations and who is unlikely to ever improve anything ! It's all about the process and to hell with the end result !

Retail in the island is a tough gig for everyone, transport costs, rent, rates and in this case Castletown's obsession with discouraging parking are all factors. Defintely a hostile enviroment to operate in. As TB says above, it all contributes to the use of Amazon on price, convenience etc etc. Sad for small shops but true !

I wonder how long it will be before Easyjet get utterly fed up of the airport, Saturday morning passengers unable to disembark due to lack of ground staff, then when departing passengers loaded unable to depart due to closure which does not have 30 seconds flexibilty. The captain was apoplectic ! apparently.

Anyone know how to contact Evri Isle of Man. Amazon have given me a returns label for a large parcel delivered broken which was left by Evri. The breakage is nothing to do with Evri I should add but I don't know how to get it back to them ! Help appreciated.

The world is losing its collective mind, to solve a percieved climate crisis, we need not to buy clothes,stop bovines from farting and heavily fine motor manufacturers for not selling enough of a product which the consumers don't want to buy. I'll await Tynwald in the buff before I don't buy a new jumper ! Actually I've just had a bit of sick come up !

TBH I couldn't give a rats ass what he believed or didn't believe he's murdering scum ! There will be a lot of families with little to celebrate this Christmas !
