    Be much better to spend the money on improving the runway lighting so the planes can land more reliably in poor weather We have survived for 20 odd years with the liquid restrictions, a few more years will make no real difference.

    Do you still get staff serving you drinks and/or food in the Exec lounge?. That facility has been dropped in the other premium lounges. (Niarbyl hasn't had it on any vessel)

    You also have the Indian Ocean dipole effecting things. Doesn't seem to have been an exceptionally windy winter, the more unusual thing to me was the predominant wind direction in the autumn

    I wonder if EU regulation 1177 ( or its post brexit equivalent) applies to these cancellations with regard to compensation and overnight accomodation?.
