Do people really have their head in the sand? It was known during the covid period it would take years to pay back the money paid to everyone to sit at home. It will only get worse unfortunately

Why would someone report being asked for a telephone number to the police? Maybe inappropriate behaviour and yeah report it to the governing body but its not a police matter

It is possible to have sympathy for the guy and still be pissed off you've missed out on a holiday. A few years back was going on a day trip to Liverpool 30/40 minutes into the journey someone took unwell and we had to turn around, hoped the guy was OK but was also gutted to miss out on a trip that had been organised for ages

Having lived in Morecambe for 18 months I've got to say it's impressive Fury managed to get over his drink and drugs issues. Morecambe is great if you're an alky, junkie or into the 2p falls machines. Only worse place is Heysham

Speaking of the superbowl a friend went to 1886 and he told me they kicked about 40 people out at half time and just closed

I walked past it on Saturday evening about 9pm there were about 15 in that I could see and they were advertising the superbowl but no idea how we'll attended it was.

We know how it will pan out though come the last day of the season Leverkusen will bottle it and Bayern will take the league, just look at last season all Dortmund needed was a win at home to some team who had nothing to play for and blew it.

It seems the demographic targeted is the one that keeps pubs open. As I say the food that do is better than anything in brewery pubs.
