There's a football team that visit every Easter have been doing for about 100 years think they're called collegegate from Liverpool. They play local teams in between visiting the pubs. Not saying these people have anything to do with them but teams do come over for easter

With the rise in social media everybody seems to believe that their opinion needs to be heard and is correct. A few years back you'd get on with it now it needs to be plastered over social media

Just like pretty much everything these days people kick off online like it's the biggest injustice ever then a week later nobody cares. I did see some bloke trying to get the head teacher to have a debate with him on manx radio which I found pretty funny

Due to work I am in high schools fairly regularly and the behaviour I see is deplorable. No amount of money would ever make me want to be a teacher.

When I was at school admittedly in the 90's we went to the bathroom when we needed to with no fuss and the vast majority managed to sit for 45/50 minutes without their bladders exploding. Fact is the head at Ballakermeen is trying to instill some discipline but once again we see people getting upset over a minor issue and trying to make it it bigger than it actually is. I see people banging on about breach of human rights. Look at the reaction back in the summer when the head sent out a letter which pretty much asked the students to behave like decent human beings. There are so many kids at school on this Island that are frankly out of control.

I see Andy Fenton is ranting on Facebook in essence saying the police should have stopped the Harassment sooner and all it needed was a warning. Honestly the Internet as great as it is really is a dangerous place at times

Why should police officers put themselves in danger when there are other methods to deal with things? to deploy PAVA you still need to get within a metre or so of the person wielding the knife. Once again another call out for the firearms officers and nobody was hurt or injured. Good result all round
