Correct. In fact, the instances of being able to claim compensation as opposed to reimbursement of expenses are as rare as rocking horse shit these days. Managing to get 100% of your reimbursement of expenses claim settled are equally as rare. Easyjet are Olympic standard at finding reasons not to accept a receipt unless it has every conceivable detail on it. As for claiming back for any tube fares where the only evidence may be a copy of a bank statement due to the “tap in/out” system…forget it!

Because otherwise it would be like celebrating Christmas Day in March, or Remembrance Day in December.

Be nice if the Isle of Man one day got the right date. For years they had it on a Sunday (I suspect due to the God Squad) and this year, the wrong weekend! In the UK its next weekend. I’m a Veteran and won’t attend on principle.

I think he was lucky to get 19 votes. He didn’t do any campaigning whatsoever. Whilst Richard Jones didn’t go knocking, he at least went to the trouble of producing and distributing a reasonable pamphlet “manifesto”. As for turnout..there is always apathy for local elections. In reality, the perception is that they can change or influence little..in truth most are good people truing their best for their community.

I was on the cancellation last night from Gatwick (bad weather cited) and then on the 08:05 this morning which they also cancelled without any reason given. Next available flight was tomorrow (when I was trying to “manage my flight” at 4:55am having working up to a text message. I need to be home tonight, so as I write I’m on my way to Liverpool. It’s not the airport managers that need a kick, its our elected representatives who need to grow a collective pair and call EasyJet to book over a shambolic, completely unreliable service. Basically, its a shower of shit.

I’m all for the electric buses. I think we should replace the entire fleet straight away. In fact, we should replace all the minibuses too. I mean, the health services will still be broken, we’ll still be pumping turds into Peel bay, but at least the current buses won’t be pumping out diesel fumes through their ultra low emission catalytic converter exhausts any more. Be electric, be green, be bankrupt.
