  1. Over £6500/m2 seems steep even with forensic areas, benchmarks would be much less
  2. The grown up thing would be to stand if you feel that way
  3. What's that - £50-100m investment gone in an instant? Will be a big loss to construction industry and no doubt rock other ones

  8. https://www.iomtoday.co.im/news/commissioners-refute-health-ministers-claims-that-theyre-acting-in-bad-faith-681955 I saw this one seems far from a resolution unfortunately. "[Hooper] added that he is ‘willing to help Braddan out of the mess they’ve created for themselves but this cannot come at the expense of public safety or the taxpayer’. In response to the Minister’s comments, Braddan Commissioners said it ‘totally refutes these allegations’ and added that ‘if anyone is acting in bad faith and with malice, it’s the Minister’." Surely Hooper will have to back down at some point?

  10. £25.7m then What happens in 2029 when the current agreement is up, who knows (presumably conversations have started).
  11. Large but not horrendous: https://www.windsystemsmag.com/laying-the-foundation-for-wind-turbines-now-and-in-the-future/ Certainly more concrete in the foundations of various buildings going up on Island now.
  12. "Please take planet friendly transport where possible" Paging @Stu Peters for clarification
  13. Well there's 'higher' and then there's near double...
  14. No but it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect monthly payments, and would assist the councils Local Authorities with cash flow
  15. "you will work within the Agriculture Team, reporting to the Climate Change Partner for Land, Sea and Nature" Presumably that's the agriculture team within Net Zero, its own mini-DEFA
  16. Enjoyed this, had the feel of a good Rob Callister blog post
  17. I believe @Two-lane was saying a NED could be on 10x NED appointments, rather than 10 NEDs for Packet
  18. Just like the maughold tram derailment?
