  1. Every bitcoin transaction is recorded in the blockchain yes. But it's still anonymous, that's why it's used for black market transactions across the globe. You have numerous "dirty" bitcoin wallets sending money to another wallet, it gets sent to another wallet which is the deposit for an exchange like coincorner (which is headquartered here). Then you shift them from the exchange into another clean wallet. Might not even be the same bitcoin as you deposited. Who owns those other wallets? Don't care, just bought a property in Dubai. I really regret not getting into it early on.
  2. They got the funds by selling bitcoin. Where did the bitcoin come from? No idea, pretty anonymous.
  3. That's the point Pongo - It's a great way to launder money.
  4. There isn't one, so it'd be individual countries deploying one, heavily crippled by the rules of engagement.
  5. I honestly can't tell which side either of you is on. All I see is the pound being worth less and less, no progress made in EU talks (but of course they are bollocks) and Europe being a bitch and making everything overly difficult to hurt us, with no regard for what we bring to the table (which isn't a lot as many London finance firms leave).
  6. Indeed Woolley. Often those that would never be your customers in the first place are the ones cheering for your demise, whilst those left in the lurch are now stuffed.
  7. http://news.sky.com/story/who-is-new-white-house-communications-director-hope-hicks-10996034 Crikey Donald, well fucking done. She's hot, young and probably will end up with a Monica Lewinsky situation with you!
  8. Which is exactly what's happening.
  9. Aww man, I hate huffpo but this has a cracking example of a crazy Trump speech from last year (I pasted the speech below in it's entirety - I was laughing so hard) http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/donald-trumps-rambling-90-second-speech-stuns-english-speaking-world_uk_57ab37d7e4b08ab70dc0f646 Look, having nuclear—my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart—you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world—it’s true!—but when you're a conservative Republican they try—oh, do they do a number—that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune—you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged—but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me—it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right—who would have thought?), but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners—now it used to be three, now it’s four—but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years—but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us.
  10. Crime levels in Castletown will have a little spike over the next few weeks I think.
  11. They're actually really good looking these days!
  12. https://www.facebook.com/LoisEmily6852/videos/10159132482460182/ The silent marching band video. Cracking! 6800 views already. Oh dear oh dear, this is definitely a straw that's shat all over the polices back
  13. Time to cut their funding back more as they're showing they're useless
  14. I'll let our regular advocate weigh in on this, but it seems the police have done fucked up
  15. Things aren't going to change too much, and queues are most airports will be easy to navigate. You seem to be overly negative
  16. To be fair, there are always queues for hours in the peak seasons, especially Spanish ones, and even more so since they changed their rules back in March/April for ALL travellers, including Schengen. But yes, it is going to be an utter utter pain in the ass at airports at both ends. Freedom of Movement was great for me, but bad for letting horrible immigrants in the country, so it's a mixed bag.
  17. Oh hush, no one is doing anything about North Korea.
  18. That Scaramucci fella didn't last long, heh.
  19. Well it's now well into his first year, and it turns out he wasn't "Literally Hitler". I wonder what the next 'scandal' will be
  20. I read all sorts of things. I look at the Guardian like I look at FoxNews. It's entertaining to see how far they can spin things to suit themselves.
  21. I can see some great things coming out of it, such as wages rising due to shortages in key areas. Which is great news! I find the guardian hilarious with it's "THERE'S NOT ENOUGH WORKERS" whining when not long ago they were whining "THERE'S NOT ENOUGH JOBS". One is a lot worse than the other
  22. Calm down mate Pongo, that's one of the most insane ramblings I've ever seen you have.
  23. I don't know, I can see the UK having to do quantitative easing and I can see the pound losing another half again on it's value. On the other hand I can see the EU having a major crisis again. So I'll go with "I don't know"
