Tempus Fugit
it'll be where the manetic hill sheep dog trials are held down past the top of 'the whiskey run', past the top of the plantation and just above the ronague hairpin is the one I have known, (as in the last map) but never really stopped to try it out

Ean
Surely you don't need a dog to control magnetic sheep!!
grant
Yep, you need a magnetic dog and it has to be the opposite pole.
zephyr
Start a the cross roads by South Barrule, drive down from the cross roads past the quarry, past the plantation. Keep an eye open for a large white stone in the field on the left. I think there is a bit of a shack on the right hand side. It scared the hell out of a chinese visitor that was on the Island. I have never heard of a magnetic hill below 'Tom the Dippers' but I'll have a look. I thought there was one out Laxey way somewhere?
steven !
I think there has been at least two threads on manxforums.com about this road in the past. A bit of a haul locating them though. I thought that this Where Is....? thread was going to be something like Where is ....Vader? or Where is ....FCMR? Where is ....Rog? Where is ....Nelly? Where is ....Notonyournelly? Where is ....roxanne? Where is ....Robnot? Where is ....Old George Woods? Where is ....Thehater? Where is ....Yoda? These questions are quite important too and need to be answered. And there are more disappeared persons. I'm worried that these people might have disappeared for ever, whereas a magnetic hill will be there for perhaps at least a few thousand more years or so. Maybe they went to look for the hill previously and just never returned.
RC-Drift.com
I first encountered magnetic hill in my car 30 years ago...up the Sloc, it was wierd ...now looking at the official tourist map, it's marked as being up past Ronague on the way to the Round Table crossroads Magnetic Hill ...unfortunately I'm on that list
