Over the last year there has been an ever increasing number of posts dotted around the forum regarding restaurants, cafes and pubs that can sometimes get missed. Some of these forum posts have been very helpful for people wanting to have a bite to eat or go out for a drink on the Island. With that in mind we are pleased to announce the new Food and Drink Forum. This is a place to post your experiences of local restaurants, bars and cafes and also post any cooking and recipe tips you may have. Happy eating and drinking. Sorry, Albert - the smoking ban is in force now. You're not allowed to smoke in enclosed internet forums anymore. Please use the smoking shelter next door instead. Possibly but the problem with that site is that it would appear that some establishments are masquerading as diners and posting their own reviews. If you look you will find the odd places with loads of reviews by people who have only made one or occasionally two reviews and it is just on that specific place. This does tend to be at odds with the general posting characteristics for most places. You get the feeling either the owners are posting themselves or they are handing a lap top over with the bill and if you make a postive comment you get a discount!
