Albert Tatlock
It's all down to Gnomes. Though that Jeremy Clarkson guy has something to do with it I'm sure.

Vulgarian
The objections to the proposed legislation were solely related to its possible detrimental effects on the economy. Such is the power of human greed that in the face of a global environmental crisis people are still trying to protect their petty economic interests. Fuck the economy. scarbunny
Yeah fuck the economy! Whats it ever done for us! Apart from feed, house and clothe us. Provide us with jobs, free health care, benefits for the poorest in society, allowed free education and grants to allow further study. But apart from that what has the economy done for us? Vulgarian
You can kiss all that goodbye if we don't take steps to limit our impact on the planet.

Sebrof
OK, it's crudely edited for maximum effect and certainly one-sided, but does it make any of you who are convinced about the causes of global warming and the likely political responses think twice?? Worth 8½ minutes of your life... No. Can't believe you can take such nonsense seriously. Gore is not a scientist or an enviromentalist. He's a politician who turned up for a debate without all the answers. That doesn't mean we are not destroying the planet - and not just through global warming.
