Blade Runner Posted May 10, 2012 Share Posted May 10, 2012 Ah yes the power station, lots of money spent but it does however have a very nice looking glass facade, that in design terms only just falls short of being better looking that the Mclaren Group HQ. They have a lake in front which clinches it for me where on the island we have to make do with a river. It wouldn't surprise me - no money for kids schooling or anything else but they can find money to piss away on rubbish with external consultants. This government is totally detached from any link to reality. Edited The more I read about this the more disgusted I am with such a catastrophically bad idea executed at a time when government is supposedly so broke its discussing putting schools on a 4 day week and stopping funding university fees. B/. won't ask residents what they wish, however they will let those residents know what they would have said if they had been asked. C/. will use out of date figures as long as those out of date figures prove what they want them to. D/. can perform miracles by getting people to spend more money on the Island by reducing the number of days that they stay there.
