girl89
I'm in Onchan, and test results from manx.net show: Your line speed is: 285.4 Kbps 35 K bytes/sec Then the same test a minute later: Your line speed is: 346.3 Kbps 42.4 K bytes/sec Those speeds aren't good are they? Bombay Bad Boy
Central Ramsey has 2meg Best so far: 1863 Kbps (with crappy old phone lines flapping in the wind and rain)

ans
I take it there's no need to reboot the router or any jazz like that? It just picks up the new connection speed automatically? It should disconnect you and then reconnect you at your new speed. If you have any problems, a reboot should be the first thing to do before calling anyone but it's unlikely it's needed. WilDDog
Us Clifton Parkers don't like to be seen to be in an unseemly rush to do anything. Dunno about that, I could do with mine as soon as possible.

Mission
Yep, you're about due for another bleatathon. I think this work DSL line has been done, this pc seems way faster web browsing. Cisco router though, no idea how to check.
ans
At a guess, I'd say try to connect to 192.168.1.1 in your web browser and provided that brings you to the router config screen, look through the options for something like 'Status' or 'Connection'. That should tell you the speed you're connected at.
