I've just read the thread again. Page 5 of the Lancaster & Kelly thread shows that there was no mention of rape until months after my saying he was a "likable rogue". It also shows that I told Yin & Yan that I would never defend anyone who was alleged to commit such an act. The "report" was nothing at all to do with the later charges,(as far as any of us knew) at that time. That is all I am trying to say. The person I knew was VERY different to the character convicted.
