Appearances can be deceptive. All I said was that you didn't have sufficient information to rush to judgment. It may turn out that he was indeed distracted (or asleep!).

If you are going to proscribe those of a maximum age from driving, then what is that age? There are people of less than his age who should not be let loose on the roads. Everyone is different.
