She clearly has severe mental health issues as well as a combination of self-destructiveness and attention seeking. She's also clearly very irritating to deal with. This is yet another case where the police seem to have been left to pick up the pieces of the failure of the mental health services to really engage with difficult cases. While it's clear that stationing mental health nurses at Police HQ has helped a lot, it's basically an admission that the 'official' mental health system was failing to help so badly that other parts of government had to employ specialists just to get people into the system and provide 'first aid'. Why the AG's Office decided to prosecute is a different matter, but the only thing they seem to be able to handle nowadays is this sort of low level stuff.
