People have conditions that will not allow them to donate blood no matter how much they want to. What is difficult to understand

I just dont see someone that actually receives a transplant then being against being a donor themselves. Some organ donors are always happy to just ship stuff on that they no longer need too. But if there is a demand coupled with a corrupt and unscrupulous system the demand will be met by foul means. It reinforced my view about the opt out plan - if more did so internationally the demand for black market organs would fall, you would hope. ThreeRaccoonsInATrenchCoat
Does it make a difference if your spleen is stolen and redistributed illegally via a black market or legally via a corrupt and unscrupulous state/corporate system? Automatic opt-in just shifts the process of unethical organ harvesting from non-state to state/corporate channels. I don't think either is good. Just to clarify then how would that happen, what system would bring a better way of solving the problem of organ shortage?

monasqueen
Nah. If you start massacring people, then you make a mess of the organs that you might want to use.
