It’s the same with most of the women in the past parliament. Daphne Caine is similar and Claire Barber. There’s so many lazy narcissistic men who have got away with literally nothing but meaningless granny farming while the women have had to work ten times harder to get taken seriously. It’s good to see they’re now moving on. The gender balance in the next parliament is likely to be even higher too.

And hopefully the gender balance in CoMin will be higher (balanced?) too. Well, it can’t be any worse.

Be interesting to see if the female politicians in Mininsterial roles can use their energy to drive change where the last lot have failed.

Julie Edge frequently gets the 'hairdryer treatment' on MF, but in reality, her contribution to the Manx politics has been mostly constructive, in my opinion at least. I am not in her constituency, but I hope she will be re-elected.

She must have strength of character she has to sit next to that moaning git when in Tynwald.

Rubbish! Look at our diverse, inclusive government.

The most nauseating thing is that Skelly's got himself another 5 years inclusion and a payrise without any public say-so....

Julie Edge has played an important role in scrutinising Ministers and will continue to do so. She can think on her feet in Tynwald (not all of them can actually) when she wants to make her case or when she has been under fire.

Ministerial post time ?

If so, hopefully the new pay system will not shut her up. Her concerns over and the Establishment of a (new) COMIN inquiry into CS numbers are to be applauded.

He’s got to be asked first. He’s thick enough to think he might be.

Hes probably sitting on the bog now, writing his new blog and creaming himself.
