Can't see the cruise industry thriving in the next decade

What is CIL?

Community Infrastructure Levy?

That's what Google suggested anyways

Michael Leather delivered a leaflet earlier...he seems overly obsessed with reviving a long dead tourism industry.

Might do better to concentrate on employment issues in their own backyard. Has the CEO returned.

Given the issues around children's vaccinations / education it seems odd that RC has been so quiet. Is this a strategy?

R.C. point of ref: 11.4 Programme  for Government, Target higher spending visitors and new markets as well as getting more spend from existing visitors DfE Rob Callister, MHK.

What’s your point?

My point (whilst poorly made) is to highlight the lack of awareness and hollow rhetoric these candidates propose in their manifestos - Robin Turton also spouts on in his about curbing needless ratepayer expenditure - expecting voters to ignore the £8000 legal bill on a "He said - she said" argument that he's involved in - mind blowing.......

Not sure how you could lay any blame on David Quirk for that though, unless I have missunderstood your comment

OK Mr Quirk - how about a comment on an issue important to Onchan at the moment - where is our CEO and why has she been suspended ? Rumours are all over the place - anyone care to "challenge" what exactly is going on?

Will David do what he says he will do?

To be fair they'd probably spend another £8000 trying to shut him up if he did.  And presumably it is a legal situation where you have to be careful about what you say.  Which probably isn't David Quirk's strongest point.

Maybe aim that question at David Quirk. You’ll get a quicker response
