Apparently at least 10 redundancies today, most meter readers.

apparently they have realised OFT will allow them to make the numbers up, so don’t need to read meters now

Not a surprise. Next there'll be another fat government grant for the upgrade of gas meters to smart meters. Now sack the guy who bought and implimented the new billing system and start again. Lessons having been learned etc. Still no sight nor sound of the uber exec Jo Cox. Wonder if MUA are still getting paid on time?

Jo is out her depth for running a business like that. Disastrous billing system, disastrous re brand, and disastrous customer service levels , followed by head count cuts so save costs, which will only worsen customer service

And the desperate radio adverts. It is laughable considering they are a monopoly and had the ear of government. Greed will out I suppose.

Just the sensible thing to do. Nobody can pay their bill as the meter readings and billing is all over the place. So let’s lay off some of our meter readers that will work.

She'll be reet, government bail out probably in the pipeline (didn't they already put legislation 'that they'll never need in place already 'just in case'). Just waiting for the right moment to announce it.

Quite right too. She had no business having that much money in her account, somebody needs to tell the Govt that there's somebody who's still got some money 🤪
