to state that 'no families' attended is a rather sweeping statement, did they identify every person attending previous events and check the relationship between them ? people can have family members who are not children but are still family. whoever 'Police' set this off wants their bumps felt, or go on gardening leave, I just wonder how far up the chain of command it came from

sort of on a sailing theme, but not SPCo, some may be interested that GYPSY MOTH IV is presently berthed in the harbour (youngsters may not recognise it as the ketch which Sir Francis Chichester sailed around the globs single handed in 1967)

For a professional media outfit (?) I think it would have been better to not publish this wobbly 'garage' video, just horrible wind noise on the sound and wobbly mobile phone video, the first 30 seconds puts you off watching much more. It's more akin to the Blair Witch Project !

just whilst looking to see where Ballacregga was, using streetview, does anyone know why Crogga house is fuzzed-out ? it's hardly top secret, is it ? (it isn't particularly spectacular from the road either !) but it's in plain sight by satellite view

BMC has regular maintenance nights once a month where they don't sail saturday night, when they do the routine stuff (you can see when on the timetable)

nothing 'wrong' it wasn't scheduled to do a daytime crossing if you look on the timetables, just a routine inspection my MCA (suppose they have one of these every year for their passenger certificate)

I guess Manannan would need a good clean after a nearly 5 hour crossing from Liverpool last night

I know it is, and it now redirects to gov.im but that's cr4p as well, the dotet system had something screwy which just filled up the directory with hundreds of images which never completed (I saved a directory listing* which is 3.3MB !) and just slowed everything to a halt, now you just can't tell which images are current and which are still showing images from last week (and never refresh) * just loads like this
