  1. Manxman would fit on the linkspans at 12 quays in Birkenhead only one side was converted to double deck for the eflexers getting a slot would be the problem as they just started a Birkenhead Dublin service so 12 quays is pretty busy
  2. It's a regular thing the boat stays in one Saturday night nearly every month known in advance gives the chance to do jobs that can't be done in the 2 hours the boat stops otherwise. 4 trips a day doesnt leave much time to sort stuff. Ben did the same thing think Whites just don't want to pay for a plane.
  3. What is the tidal range in Liverpool 8 or 9 metres on a big tide. That walkway only looks to have 4 or 5 will the Mananann now be restricted by tides like the Manxman.
  4. Off course was to worried about spelling birth rite
  5. Manannan of the berth and heading down the river is it on its way home?
  6. One deck for crew deck 9. Some public outside space and the bridge are on deck 9 so not all crew accommodation.
  7. Half price Turkeys in shoprite if you haven't got one already.
  8. Live on board is probably not that attractive even for non locals broken sleep from the boat loading and unloading every four hours. Dry ship meaning no beers for the duration not being able to just go out for a walk or nip to the shops for two weeks half your life is spent going to and from Heysham. Four hours on the thing is enough or me can't wait to get off.
  9. Do they not put who gets what on the notice board at the back of the tills?
  10. Ben my chree is taking its last scheduled round trip tonight From tomorrow the Manxman will do both return rotations. Manannans last trip of the year is on Sunday then the new boat is on its own hope they have got it right.
  11. Sunday big coop In Ramsey closes 6pm smaller one 10 pm
  12. Smaller stores can stay open longer on Sundays. Not quite the advantage here but across larger stores can open 6 hours. Tesco express size stores stay open lot longer maybe winerite smaller stores in Ramsey Peel and Castletown.
  13. Condors boat is pretty much the Ben when it first arrived before they extended the passenger areas and put the bar and the lounge on. Only carries 400 passengers. They maybe happy with that. Manx public weren't so the Ben got changed
  14. Manxman going out at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning staying in Heysham to ride out the storm and coming back 02.15 Thursday morning
