It would be interesting to know how many times/voyages MXM has had the max number of vehicles/trailers loaded. This is from IOMSPCo website: Passengers and crew: 1000 Vehicles: 237 private, 75 trailers

This is what I was alluding to but didn't put it very well and although I think JW is right at 50% more PAX it still doesn't stack up for me. What I'm wondering is if IOMSPCo has a self imposed limit on car/vehicle numbers because a couple of times in early April when I've tried to book I've been told there's no available vehicle space. Of course it might have been that I was unlucky and it was genuinely full but I do wonder if they are actually loading to full capacity. Is there anyone else out there who has had the same issue?

The problem I have with MXM is that the increase in PAX is not proportionate to the number of vehicle spaces that have increased.

Indeed. I wasn't suggesting it invalidates the performance at all. But to suggest that scores are random does an injustice to the performer who may well have been technically correct.

I would suggest that scoring is subjective.

Good question, I don't have the answer but I would have thought that if you don't get off at the first arrival point then you haven't finished your journey and only need to pay the APD to the final destination. No doubt someone will be along shortly to advise us.

If I'm not mistaken a number of the old Manx Airlines schedules started life as a two hop service. It's not ideal, I'll grant you but at least they're making the effort.

But at least there's a service.
