    His letter was in response to professor Phillip Banfield’s letter which amongst other things referred to the case of Dr Ranson v Department of Health and Social Care.

    I noticed that Alf could not bring himself to address Dr Ranson with her title in the letter to the paper today, says it all to me.

    I read this and thought “who the f*ck wrote this shit” and if our wonderful elected representatives think this is a true representation of the Isle of Man at present then god help us.

    The police know who these people are as they had already arrested them for bringing a load of drugs into the Island. Unfortunately the court decided they could be bailed, hopefully whoever made this decision will reflect on whether this was wise! edited to amend a typo

    If they could open the Quarterbridge to Braddan Bridge I can’t see any reason why they couldn’t open the rest to allow some of us to move about, unless someone can explain otherwise.

    When canvassing for the constituency he specifically told me he would not accept any ministerial position as he would be serving his constituents by holding the Government to Account! He was the only candidate who verbally lied to me though….. as he was the only one we saw on our door step.

    Have lived in Kirk Michael for 25 years and we have had our bin emptied every two weeks during that time with no difficulties, get used to it!
