I get out frequently. But my social circle isn’t full of rambling dysfunctional pensioners so usually when we start talking about a violent attack in Douglas generally it doesn’t end up being some weird rambling conversation about 50 year old games of hockey or football. You seem to have some anger management issues. As I said I don’t need any Manx history lessons of anyone on this forum. Not least about the student festivals which I remember well. As I said what the IOM needs is less violent scousers, amongst others, causing havoc. It’s just importing trouble on top of the trouble that’s already here.

Which has a huge cost to get on and off attached to it and a crap health service. And where we’ve now even put up taxes so if you earn less than £50K a year it’s actually worse than the UK and that’s without the cost of living differential. That budget would have seen me off too if I’d have had that job.

I’m primarily disappointed for my kids. I’ve told those still here to look at moving away. If you’re well educated and want to achieve something in life don’t bother participating in an incestuous crab bucket of people who were lucky to get six GCSEs and who now think they own the place and who are sucking all the cash out of the IOM putting obstacles in the way of anyone who wants to get on. Well according to the FSAs latest update this morning the IOM now regards Lesotho as an equivalent jurisdiction to the IOM for AML purposes. So we’re really in the big league now when it comes to international standards. Looks like the protestors have gone. Manx Radio reported about an hour ago.

Me too. I’m actually arguing over a consultants invoice currently as I ran it through an AI checker and it looks like the cheeky bastard charged us a few grand for a report he largely seem to have got AI to write. It’s a brave new world.

The most ironic post IOM Government has ever launched. Our new 2% rate of income tax is really being spent well already on superfluous £100K jobs. One man familiar with AI would probably get AI to write the paper and the framework for him. You could then go on holiday the three years and just bank the cash and let AI do the work for you if you understood AI to the level that they will want you to understand AI for this post.
