nekopanda
from what i hear the game itself isnt too bad but the graphics are ment to be really bad unless you own a HD tv and have the settings set for your console?
Twonky
from what i hear the game itself isnt too bad but the graphics are ment to be really bad unless you own a HD tv and have the settings set for your console? The Eurogamer face-off praises all versions of the game, although the PC is streets ahead. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-face-off-battlefield-3 There's another article coming up specifically about the PC version, which is understandable since it's the most beautiful game ever made. somewhatdamaged
from what i hear the game itself isnt too bad but the graphics are ment to be really bad unless you own a HD tv and have the settings set for your console? The graphics are superb, they are even decent on the console version (with the HD texture pack that is). Who is going to play on a console without a HDTV though? The PC version really is cutting edge though.
Twonky
If any PC players want to join the world-conquering* Manx Headshot Society platoon (currently all of eight members strong!) just drop me a PM with your character name and I'll ask the 'platoon leader' to send you an invite. It has to be said, when we squad up and work together, we are pretty much an unstoppable force. * Entire world not conquered yet, but it's coming. K.os Theory
played it last night on a mate's rig...wow gorgeous looking. 64player conquest is unreal! I definately need to brush up on my keyboard mouse gaming though as I was rusty as anything ( although doesn't help when his settings are all cockeyed! ). time to start saving methinks! Twonky
Looking like a pretty solid contender for best multiplayer FPS game ever IMO - including going right back to the classics such as Quake1/2, Unreal Tournament, Counterstrike etc. Once you get past the most impressive graphics engine EVER - there's an absolutey solid game in there too. Tremendous stuff. We were playing last night and we all said on more than one occasion, 'Did you just see that? Incredible!'

Twonky
Manx Headshot Society server seems to have been more popular of late, had it at 32/32 for sustained periods of time over the last few nights. Also had a diabolically blatant hacker on there the other night, who got himself kicked and banned in short order. We are paying for a 64-slot server so we might bump it up to 64 players. Maxheadroom
Anyone still use this server? Only really started playing over christmas (despite buying it when it came out) and added Manx Headshot Society as a favourite but it's been a ghost town whenever I've looked at it
