Lonan3
I can't vote for him anyway as I live in Ramsey, you know, that "pile of junk". Edited to remove superfluous words.
Declan
He didn't win many arguments here, what hope has he of changing the mind of Government machine.
Theodolite
Vader was good at the flounce (didn't he win the forum 'flounce of the year' award once? twice?) and said he wasn't coming back....but always did.

Theodolite
Just listened. A true entertainer (for all the wrong reasons) - get him in the Keys now. Quirky - Stowell......Quirky - Stowell? ...... ...... ...... gotta be Stowell. Quirky is just a Government wedge and a wannabe big boy.
guilty
He's not afraid to be unpopular - and that's perhaps something that our MHKs should learn. Trouble is, you won't get in unless you're a 'nice man' who promises the electorate everything they want.
Me_Want_Cookie
He won't get in because he's taking recycling away in Onchan and has so failed miserably to replace it. All so he could get a little publicity before the election.
Grianane
James/Vadar certainly has some strong views but lacks IMO the vision or ability to do anything better. Along with the other candidates he just doesn't inspire confidence. As a long term public employee (albeit retired at 56 years of age - how on earth did he manage that one - and could be draw a tynwald wage and receive a public sector pension) I doubt that he has the business experience to make much of a contribution, and regrettably his union activity probably makes him unable to look objectively at both sides of any story and make a balanced decision. His major contribution here will undoubtably be to help to split the votes in Onchan making it almost impossible to second guess which of the largely inadequate condidates will actually get elected. You might be right but he might just get all the votes from people that have put Jedi as their religion on the census form.

Lonan3
I listened to Mr Stowell on Talking Heads. He speaks loudly and with complete confidence - but manages to say absolutely nothing.
spook
Good or bad, right or wrong, suitable candidate or not he has at least stuck his head above the parapet and is trying to do something and not just sit and moan but do NOTHING. All credit to the man.
