Vulgarian
Yeah coz PokerStars need the free advertising of the forum!! That's not the point. Should we make exceptions to the T&Cs for very large businesses? Gambling in particular is something that doesn't need promoting. I expect the intention of the company with this thread was to generate debate and draw attention to their commercial events. It's advertising, plain and simple. And by posting I am bumping the thread! sage
Lxxx
The only mistake is it isn't in the right forum. It should have been in Events but that's the only issue with it. Stop being so wet. It's a good news item in a forum full of negativity.

x-in-man
Chess is a good move. The prize pot is an attraction, probably for some big names. Should be a regular.
When Skies Are Grey
Once could argue that this is merely highlighting an event that they are sponsoring/hosting....not advertising the company per se. If you wanted to go down that road then surely any local event which had a headline sponsor would be prevented from being talked about. Pedants rule!
