Cliff Hazard
I'm not sure if this is true but the person who told me is adamant it is - they recall Boney M sailing into Port st Mary harbour on some sort of sailed vessel singing Rivers of Babylon during Regatta week many years ago. I don't remember it , and did live there then but she insists it happened, she even called her aunt to confirm it to me. I think I may have asked this a couple of years ago but no-one could recall it. Can anyone confirm? Seems extremely random.

Sock Puppet 2014
Right, I thought I dreamt this but I checked the last time it was discussed on the forum and it happened: Boney M played a Seaside Special. Late 1970s. It was in a big marquee tent thing in the grounds of Castle Rushen High School. I was there because a friend had contacts who could get tickets for these sort of things. I could really take the piss here, but it actually came out ok on the TV, after all the editing and sunset shots behind Bradda.

I thought it was a BBC televised Summer Special from the grounds of King Bill's, I seem to remember a stage in front of a marquee....they played "Gotta go Home" which was their latest release at the time (I know, knowing this is sad.....!) Addie
They played in the Palace Hotel & Casino. Fact. I remember it well as one of the girls took a cheeky fancy to my hubby and came over to ask my permission to dance with him after the show! She came on very strong, as did the aroma of her perspiration It was a good enough show though to be fair.
