Fitted correctly and within specification then Cat 6 is better than Cat 5, but a proper in spec cat 5 installation is better than a crappy DIY/dodgy electrician Cat 6 installation. It was, tried watching Alan Partridge, alpha papa, on catch up then. It was running in 45 second bursts so gave up and spent a fortune on eBay.
