asitis
Didn't they have one tip over onto the wingtip a few years back while operating in "rather windy conditions"? Yes. I watched it happen. Extremely lucky it didn't flip upside down and the props didn't shatter through the cabin. Also we haven't got a CAA. We are under the UKs CAA. Incorrect we have our own CAA and our own Air Navigation Order and authority over Manx Airspace !
guzzi
Story and photo now on MR. Reported as having taken off, but subsequently diverted back to IoM because of strong winds. Odd, as a Glasgow and `Gloucester flight departed at roughly the same time, and using the same sort of plane. Statement by the director of ports shortly. All Citywing flights for remainder of the day now cancelled.

WTF
Probably find the control tower is going to blow over so they dont want the plane near it.

monasqueen
If all Citiwing flights are now cancelled, this sounds like it's a problem with more than one plane.

guzzi
If they have one plane out of action due to the incident, and two elsewhere but marooned by weather, I'm not surprised they have cancelled for the rest of the day.
