Albert Tatlock
British IS recruiter Sally-Anne Jones 'killed by drone' - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-41593659 If they have 'legitimately' killed a 12 year old, travelling with his mother...there is, indeed, something wrong with the world. Everyone is entitled to a fair trial. An innocent 12 year old child is entitled to a rethink of the whole system.

quilp
It would be by now, assuming the experience this 12-year-old has most likely been exposed to: the sights he has seen, the hatred and malevolence he has heard, difficult to assess just how to gauge his innocence. Kids can kill too; the images of even younger, radicalised kids executing the enemies of IS by shooting them in head or the odd failed attempt at beheading, cheered-on by psychopathic islamists, have played out on social media for years. Shake me up Judy
How do you propose we could have given that 12 year old child a fair trial Albert, in a place where there is no rule of law, no legal apparatus, no means of enforcing law, in a foreign territory where we have no legal jurisdiction and against a terrorist organisation that has declared war on us. Max Power
Unfortunately his mother failed in her duty to protect her child, whether he is dead or alive, she is responsible!
quilp
Albert is fundamentally correct, though. It's why there's something not right, and what to do about it.
P.K.
If his mother hadn't taken him to a war zone he would still be alive. Not his fault, the poor soul, but all hers....
Neil Down
What assumptions are you basing your “innocence” comment on Albert. How many clips have we seen of brainwashed kids brandishing weapons?
Albert Tatlock
12 years old? Touring the world with a nutty mother? Wise up. What right takes his life?

Tarne
There is no right and wrong, there is just what is. It sucks for the kid, mother had responsibility and fucked it up. No different from stories all over the world. They didn't intentionally target the kid, it just happens. It is what it is.

Loads of 12 year olds and much younger are getting slaughtered everyday, is it because it's a young British white kid that upsets you?
Albert Tatlock
You dick. It's a serious question. It's just the same as if some guy gets arrested for child porn...and then "they" (whoever they are) launch a missile and take the whole family out. Bad guy gone...but there goes the family too. 12 year old ? OK collateral damage? No...is the snswer you are looking for. Unacceptable human behaviour
Tarne
They didn't intentionally target the kid. Kids die all the time. Her fault for taking a kid to a warzone. Kid could have easily have bought it to a bullet. He had probably been trained to fire weapons, perhaps had even killed himself. I don't imagine they gave him a DS and educated him in their compounds there.
j2bad
Sorry, did I miss the whole thing about child porn downloaders getting taken out by drone launched missile attacks?
