Looks like he’s been royally screwed over by someone and now having an awkward investigation at work on top. A little thought would not go amiss before prejudging. Would people say the same if the guy had bought guns legally and stored them in his camper ? Not much different really. A quiet word, a little understanding and a confiscation would have sufficed IMO. An opportunity to hand over as part of a regular amnesty. Possibly a caution. Anyone that has experience of being held up...has a different view of the world than 90% of us. But the need to potentially screw up a career too? Overkill. The guy has been critical of police methods years ago. This is the Isle of Man and it doesn't do to go against the grain. Once they know where you live, they can wait....
