2x E145s on the way to operate MCR and BHX. What a mess.

What a mess. It's a problem of Loganair's scattergun route approach.

With us not having proper scheduled routes to their key bases, we are always going to struggle with this. I hope they can improve reliability of the ATR fleet.

The DoI and DoE need to recognise that Loganair are not part of the medium to long term solution for the Island. They have basically had an 'free shot' at providing a decent service to the Island, and even when they are provided with regular dollops of lovely IOMG cash, have been found wanting, again and again.

I do appreciate that there are very few players in the UK regional market, but Emerald are emerging as a credible option, and perhaps our leaders should be talking to them.

Unlikely.

ATR stands for Awful Technical Reliability.

Goodness knows what is going on it’s a complete shambles . If it’s Loganair serious questions need to be asked because the island needs regular and frequent services and this is not good enough . And it also shows the folly of assuming EasyJet are the solution their first flight off island today is not scheduled until 15.25. A complete and utter shambles someone needs to get a grip !

Don't worry - Tim Glover has held his hands up, so it is gonna be OK!
