Happier diner Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Anyone tried this new place yet? https://www.cappa.im/ Quote
jackwhite Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 Walk past it daily. Wouldn't pay the money they want for what is essentially a kebab. Some other dishes but it's very expensive. A lot of words to say no haven't tried it! Never seen more than 2 tables occupied in it. 1 Quote

Maybe you've got plenty money but in comparison to other places I think that's very high. 1 Quote

Not even as a special treat unless I were to forgo eating at home for a few days in preparation. 1 Quote

The sharing platter for two is £32 now ( I think it was 20 odd before) but is all chicken a mixed grill with generous portions of meat as a main meal for two for £48 may not be too bad But it all depends on whether you get any sides / accompaniments . If you have to order bread etc in addition then its not great.. Have to go one day and see how the portions are .. Quote

Kopek Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 Isn't it £20 for a steak on a pub table with drinkers shaking their ass next to you?? Gods Sake, give it a go, if you wait to hear reports, it'll never survive!!! Quote

Good selection of meats basically a farmyard on a platter. I've attempted it for 2 before and it easily beat us. 2 Quote
Kopek Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Lamb dishes in the low teens, adifferent cuisine, turkish wine in the teens, where else would you get that? It was really really good. 70 quid for two, will go again. I think a couple of Gins in the Mannin were 18 quid, compare that!!!!! 1 Quote
The Phantom Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Seemed busy on Saturday evening when I walked past and had a look at the menu, which looked good too. Quote
Kopek Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 '' bottle of Gordons is £15 - right? ;;. That's not quite the way it works though, is it. Let's just say wages and overheads! Surely you add on to the cost of your product? Fynoderree x 4. Nice and natural but dear. Quote
