asitis
All sounds very good on paper. A tip for them, if you want to encourage new business in the Finance sector, get a grip of the FSA. If you were to transform them from an organisation to be worked without, if at all possible, into a partner for business, the sector could fly again and without any dodgy dealings too ! The UK FCA works with business, the FSA does their level best to fine and obstruct, without the application of their own rules or common sense ! FWIW. 1

The FSA (whilst I think not officially) is the Civil Service, therefore riddled with a mixture of incompetence, jobsworths and plain maliciousness. They're supposed to be guard dogs, but they have now been instructed to maim and kill. 1

Lots and lots of buzz words. One question though..... why do we need to train entrepreneurs? ETA: And.... is it really necessary for each "Agency" to have a CEO?? If so, at what cost and are they on fixed terms contracts?? Are their remuneration packages linked to meeting targets?? Have good friends who own a big company in the financial sector and they are damming of our FSA. Always say they have to jump through hoops and then some. Lots of senior staff leaving FSA or have left over the last year as had enough of management. Edited May 17, 2023 by Numbnuts
