Regular visitor to jurby with a knife?  I don't know what proportionate force is for someone with a knife, but we do seem to be sending out the guns with alarming frequency since the new chief came in.

Maybe Gary Roberts wasn't that bad afterall

If he had a knife, the instruction "‘keep your hands out of your pockets" seems a little irrelevant.

Are the commands "on to your knees" and "get on to your belly" part of standard UK/IoM police training, or is it just something they have seen on American television?
