It won't. You might get the odd person from PE/PSM/Castletown who previously would have gone that way to go Shore Road and then past the airport, but that will only happen if the bypass does turn out to be a quicker route. If I was being kind I'd say that at least it will stop both sides of the incoming Ballasalla traffic from going via the Whitestone roundabout, so it should make it better than it is today. It just feels a bit half-arsed though.

I actually find it quite endearing how they pop up every year and devote their time to this stuff on a small local forum as if it'll in any way impact opinion on the TT. It's almost like a TT tradition now, at least for the small number of us who read these forums.

Yeah, but what on earth is odd about that? She may well have wished to continue but the medical protocols in place mean that she can't. Interestingly enough she was on TT live tonight and when asked about it said that she'd been examined, had concussion, had been told she can't ride, and that she totally understood it was serious and was ok with it. It's bad there and needs sorting, but people are going way over the top exaggerating it (Baghdad, Beirut, the Somme etc). That said, I was on the top deck of a double decker along there a month or so ago and you could really feel how bumpy it is from there. It is an issue.

A motorcyclist or a cyclist would be visible as long as you looked properly, they're higher than the wall. As I said it's not an overtake I'd make myself but of all the driving I witness on a daily basis over here I really don't think that overtake was as awful as some of the reactions make it appear.

It's not an overtake I would have made, but it's not horrendous either. You can absolutely see clearly through Guthries so there's nothing blind about it, however the issue is more that you're reliant on the other driver having awareness of you and not cutting across you. They appear to have made the overtake before that would likely become an issue though so there's not an awful lot wrong with it really.

Because Loganair have island based aircraft and will therefore be prepared to take the time circling waiting to get in. If Easyjet did the same they'd just be impacting other flights later in the day that are likely going to run fine without any issues. Loganair essentially have nothing better to do.
