modey
What fecking camera is he using? Filming 8 to 10 hours wit one battery and one tape - I want one... Only he wasn't though. He was filming for about 1 hr and 20 minutes. Which was the length of the film. The point is that the movie was everything that was on that one tape. You see? FAQ Edited to add link to IMDB FAQ. Some other useful stuff there too. I noticed jj abrahams said on that the monster was brand new, but it's very similar to the monster in The host

the mo beats experience
Belter, really enjoyed it. I think its on for the rest of the week, go and see it at the cinema if you get the chance, judging by tonights audience you won't have problems getting tickets. ans
I finally watched this on Saturday. It wasn't scary in the slightest, and I'll even go as far as to say I was bored at many points throughout it. The handheld camera was a neat trick but one they should have dispensed of after the interminable first 20 minutes or so as it got old, really fast. Ultimately, it didn't live up to the hype in any way for me.
immortalpuppet
I switched it off after about 25 mins, got sick of the camera man shouting Rob every 10 seconds. Was not the epic filum i was expecting at all.

TerryMcCann
I watched it last week and apart from the monster attacking New York I cannot remember anything about the film. Certainly not an attention grabber that's for sure
victorian dad
I thought it was great, I expected it to crap after reading the reviews, but once it actually started (after about 25 boring minutes) i enjoyed it. hopefully we will see another version of the same timeline but shot in a "Hollywood block-buster style." Mission
I watched it last night. All I'll say is that it screams of 'sequel' at some point in the future.

Mission
I think so too, which I hadn't done. I did read The Scope's IMDB link today though which answered a few questions.
