Mission
It should be, pretty much all the ingredients are there. Bet they've got lots across. Maybe we'll get something over the next day or so. Either way, it's going to be cold all week.
TerryMcCann
I stand corrected. First flakes just spotted.
Albert Tatlock
'UK grinds to halt'. Same headlines every time, even with a weeks notice of bad weather. Pretty pathetic compared to most other nations. I expect it will snow here later tonight. My bet though is only the mountain will be affected, and the stuff will mostly stay where it belongs - elsewhere, and on Christmas cards.
When Skies Are Grey
All quiet in Ramsey and over the top on the way in.... UK seems to have got it bad though....love the way the news channels put all the junior reporters out in the crappy weather....more to come too. GD4ELI
You can alway try the DOT's webcams - when the site's working that is...
slinkydevil
Just been in Shoprite on Market Street and there was definate ice forming inside some of the freezer compartments. I can't believe those idiots at the DOT didn't see this coming and get the gritters out. FFS! I can see the schools getting shut over this and long delays on aisle 8. Cret
Was snow on the ground in Port Erin early on, then a flurry of it in Douglas around 8am, and again a tiny bit about 15 minutes ago. We want more. Apparently no busses running in London & M25 closed.
Lonan3
...there's some evil lookng clouds over Tower House. Is that a weather forecast, or a financial one?
Albert Tatlock
Apparently no busses running in London & M25 closed. Thanks for that - I have to get to Peel later.
monasqueen
Apparently no busses running in London & M25 closed. Load of southern wimps. I suppose it's the "wrong sort of snow" again.
The Thriller
The Snow was pretty heavy at Ellerslie this morning, it had the Staff in a panic.
grant
3 inches of snow in Southport, so I am told! My informant has just called me and said she meant 3mm! A bit of a difference.
Mission
The've got snow in Guernsey apparently but I can't find a single webcam to check (other than the one that is in the harbour and appears to be broken). Herm Island had a working cam though and snow could clearly be seen.
