Flat pack furniture? Usually my hourly rate for anyone with a sexy foriegn wife whose at home during the day as her partner is at work is £3 an hour. Just click the kettle on and make sure your in work for 8:30 :- ) Those wardrobes will put themselves up. You'll never know I'd come round. Gladys
I feel your pain GOMH, which is why I normally do those things myself now. Flat pack furniture is a breeze (ish)! Just make sure you have plenty of room and a strong wrist to turn the ubiquitous alan keys.

The Godfather of Manx House
Trust me, this stuff is lethal. I really need someone to sort it out. And a few small points: HBOY ... Thanks but she's out as well. Which probably is for the best for all concerned . theman ... I'm not lazy. I earn a few quid. NO holiday pay. Nor him, I'm sure. No sick pay for us both. But no matter what you say, you ain't gonna explain how "handy work" is worth £ 18 per hour. I've now got a FQ joiner for less to sort it. Gladys ... My wrists are fine. It's just my brain that won't turn ... ...GOMH*... ...PS Just to be clear: Handymen are fab. Just not *that* fab ...

Celt
Apologies all round if I seem tight for finding £ 18 an hour steep. Imo, £18 ph is a piss take by someone who i doubt is time served or qualified in anything. I would very much doubt if they have Public Liability either.
