Roger Mexico
Meanwhile back in the real world: "Police are looking to trace a dark hatchback as they continue to investigate the damage caused to around 70 vehicles in the south of the Island on Sunday evening. The vehicles had what's believed to be some sort of solvent sprayed on them, ruining paintwork and melting plastic fittings. Officers say the hatchback they're looking for had two 'L' plates on the rear and two on the bonnet, and was seen on the Honna Road junction with the Bradda Road at about 8:15pm." Somebody must recognise this car. They did - the owner. It's now been ruled out by the police: Police in the south of the Island say they've spoken to the owner of a vehicle they requested information about yesterday, and have ruled them out of their investigation into damage caused to around 70 vehicles on Sunday evening. Inspector Mark Newey of the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team says enquiries are continuing to identify those responsible for the vandalism, which saw some kind of solvent sprayed on the vehicles. Officers are now looking for a light coloured hatchback which travelled along either the Ballachurry Road or Ballafesson Road towards the Honna Road on Sunday evening at approximately 10pm. The car approached the Surby junction on its right hand side, then turned around in the junction and doubled back on itself. You'll just have to take the gallows to pieces again. Gizo
Any news from the Island's finest? Hot on any trails? Suspects? I think they are looking for a blue car this week, or was it red I can't remember but it's definitely a car.
GD4ELI
Maybe we should maintain some sort of spreadsheet with known 'incidents' and 'you are knicked sunshine' reports so one knows what's what with law and order. So many cases recently, so few awards ceremonies.
