The Facebook post was ours and was a suggestion to potential clients that we would offer a favourable price to anyone allowing us to document a project for the Facebook page or upcoming website.

We have been trading for over ten years but a recent rebrand is intended to give customers a better idea of the range of services we offer from simple relocation of an existing TV, supply of TV and speakers, lighting control, smart home systems, and cinema rooms.

Due to the small size of the island we do find it difficult to get Clients to agree to us showcasing the projects we have completed for them which can make it difficult to get across to people the scope of the service we offer.

We have indeed completed Cinema Rooms from Garage conversions with a large TV and full surround sound with lighting control for around £2,500 to custom built rooms with acoustically treated floors and walls, very high spec projectors, 200" plus screens, Dolby Atmos surround sound, multiple rows of tiered seating, electric curtains/blinds etc and full automation. On rare occasions on the Isle of Man these can and have run to over £250,000.

The purpose of the post was purely to try and find some people who would allow us to document a project start to finish which we can use as a further sales tool, and show that we can cater to any budget.

With regard to what sort of houses you might find top end setups in it really varies greatly. I doubt there are any two households anywhere on the island where the percentage value of the house is split the same on Kitchen, bathroom, flooring, tiles, lighting, landscaping, furniture, and the most important catagory which is toys.

Different people have different priorities and different things they get pleasure from and it's no ones place to say what is right or wrong for another individual.

As a simple example speakers available range from under £200 to over £200,000 for a pair and everything in between, which does make marketing to such a wide range of clients difficult.

Lol.

Why is that funny? Watches available range from about £2 to hundreds of thousands of pounds. Nothing wrong with either depending on what type of watch you want, how much pleasure you get from watches and what you can afford to spend.

Same applies to cars, houses, holidays, restaurants, wine, furniture etc.

Clearly far more people spend £200 than £200,000 but both options are there with everything in between.

You could add a 0 to that figure, but I have been in most quite a few of the very expensive houses here and I don't believe any have speakers in such a high bracket.

I'd offer to let you come round and documnet my home cinema project but I only have about £50 to spend so I'll probably stick with my old skool telly for now.

Nice to know there is a specialist firm able to make a living out of it all though.

Some residents over here are lucky enough to have had their private own IMAX cinemas and ultra hi-def cinemas bulit in their homes.

A few also have "day of release" which means someone comes to their residence when a new film is released to the public and it's loaded onto their home cinema system :D

I've got a set you can buy for £200,000, I'll deliver and install them (in an elf costume if you like).

Nope. You gotta do it naked.

I can accept the £200k speakers in your own home cinema. What the hell, I'll even go for the multiple rows of tiered seating. But automated electric curtains? Well that's simply pretentious.
