Happier diner
Have you seen it now. It’s deteriorating rapidly. There are loose stones signs but the speed limit signs seem to have reduced. No one is sure now. Big bald patches around the junction to the ols osses rest home. The new clippings are completely gone. Hope the DOI are going to get our money back. This job is a disaster and even worse than the Laurel bank resurface last year.

TheTeapot
Who on earth writes the fb statuses for the police? Quote The DOI has arranged to cone off the overtaking lane on Richmond Hill. It is intended to carry out the installation of the Traffic Management from 7pm this evening, 12th January 2019. The mobile matrix sign will be utilised to reinforce the 30mph message to motorists. Answers to questions going to be asked would include. 1. It is not our fault don’t shout at us and the DOI are doing their best to resolve a difficult situation. 2. We know it will make it impossible to overtake slower vehicles but a lot of people asked for this and some ignored the 30 limit. 3. It will be fixed when it’s warmer and the job has to be done when it’s warm. 4. It could be worse, the road could be closed.

I don`t think it is loose chippings that are coming off now, it is lumps of tarmac complete with chippings that are coming off, went up there last week, and a car over took the car in front of me and was sending bite sized bits of tarmac on to us all, but then i suppose as it is not the TT course it is not really a priority, to those of us who pay road tax. 2

''' Hay there you woman boy, did yer heeer the clippin an cloppin at those old horses goin up the richmond?'' That sort of reminds me of the number that Treadmill used to do at the Tholt Y Will many years ago: COAL-HOLE CAVALRY^^ Ted Edwards 1. Early morning, dreaming is shattered One clitter-clatter on t'flags outside Old Knocker-Upper rat-tatting on t'window Making sure nobody's overlied. CHORUS: Clittering, clattering, coal-hole cavalry Galloping, rain or fine Clittering, clattering, coal-hole cavalry Galloping down to t'mine. 2. Father yawning, drizzle on t'window More clitter-clattering coming down t'hill Stairs are creaking, oven door banging Father waiting for Uncle Bill. 3. Mam is filling 'is bottle wi' water Clatter-clitter-clatter and a rattle on t'latch Clogs in t'lobby an' talking quiet Arguing t' toss about Sunday's match. 4. Come on, Billy lad, best get goin' Clatter-clitter-clatter an' t'front door bang!! Going down to t'mucky old coal-pit Hear pit hat and snap-tin clang! 5. Colliers riding a million horses Clatter-clitter-clatter all over t'world "Look-out! Injuns, Cavalry's coming!" Picks and shovels and banners unfurled. 6. Hooter's blowin' a sound of vict'ry Clatter-clitter-clattering's over an' done All t'world's quiet an' sleep is coming Wish I were a collier - collier - collier Wish I were a collier, it must be fun!

We can’t stop people overtaking so now we’ll just half shut the whole bloody road and make it one lane to further inconvenience the public. The DOI must be the most incompetent department of IOMG by miles. It’s a breathtakingly stupid solution. Why not just hand out push bikes and make people cycle up the hill and give them their car back at the top? That would be about as stupid as this action. All because the DOI totally fucked up in the first place. This must be 6 weeks of increasingly stupid solutions to the fact that they did a totally shit job in the first place!

Who is covering the cost of this mess ?
