To drag the topic back on course, it's interesting how little evidence of this Tevir Group there is online isn't it?  You's expect something with 'group' in its name to be ... well more group-y.  Perhaps a corporate website filled with mission statements and other business bullshit.  Instead there's just the very recent (31 August) incorporation already mentioned, a presumably related February incorporation for Tevir Properties (IOM) Ltd, and a Linkedin for someone called Steven Malone who is Financial Controller at Tevir Group.

Newsnight has updated his blog piece about the recent ownership history of the Castle Mona with the latest information and points out that the registration of the property hasn't been updated - as it should legally have been if it was sold in May.

Not necessarily so for a property company. As long as it's completing on deals then there's not really a lot of need for a website.

They're probably all IoMG shell companies...it's all carefully contrived to keep the places in public ownership thus maintaining the numbers needed to account for them and feed money into the favoured local contractors and thus keep the unemployment figures down

The Nations Mouthpiece has spoken - more good news to cause our politicos to spontaneously wet themselves.

Quite a spending spree undertaken. Sorry for sounding somewhat cynical. Apparently work to tidy up Villiers Square being undertaken immeniently. The laws were there to get the previous owners to tidy the site up, but our toy town chain pullers were too weak to enforce. Now they will wet themselves as a new ‘local’ Group takes control.

So who are the Tevir Group, where have they come from, what's their motive and long term aim?

?????

All I hope is, they have the funding to do all the plans what they intend to do, and taxpayers funding isn’t being provided - particularly in relation to the CastleMona.

We are being brainwashed by Government Civil Servants and Tynpotwalders that our GDP is 7.4%. We are awash with money (supposedly) and supposed companies setting up over here. Plenty of Office Space to cope with the rising and rising-demand. Or is it a case of Landlords wanting top dollar and are not prepared to alter their rental demands, therefore empty buildings.
