But that is 4 years away, surley it is not going to take 4 years to do that, is it ?

When you include getting the Ok for funding, getting planning approval, acquiring the land required, design and construction, it’s a reasonable time.

They have to come up with a way to get the money out of us first.

You are obviously not from theses parts are you, Have you ever heard of the word TAX, this would be the "TTART", that would pay for it, not to be confused with a "TART" ?

Considering the only access to and from the inside/outside of the TT circuit during race times is a single carriageway, controlled by traffic lights, with a low bridge you cannot get a fire engine under, and it’s coming to the end of 2018 - good idea.  Should have been done years ago.

What should be happening now is planning a 2nd access somewhere.

Compulsary purchase, of all land in tromode, that would work, end result a new TT access road, When / if the TT all goes tits up, we can sell it back again for a profit, win win  all round.

A fly over, from Leece lodge, ( charge for the crossing of course )  to peel road, ideal access to Macdonald`s ( the new KFC on peel road ) , keeps the locals happy, win win all round, and of course fire access ?

The residents of River Heights, or whatever it's called won't half be pleased, I'm sure. Has there ever been a test done on the air pollution when it's busy down there?

The access road should come up by Leece Lodge and not through a housing estate ( a very nice one too )

That would be money better spent if they absolutely have to keep throwing money on everything TT related.
