Bell discovered the phrase "we can't slash and burn". I suspect it was a highly paid civil servant who told him the phrase. He wouldn't stoi fucking spoutingit when ut was suggested that there could be cuts in the civil service.

Strange that the two Great Untouchables that everybody is/was so reluctant to address in recent electoral terms are so closely related?

Those two issues being the size of the CS/PS itself and the CS/PS Pensions matter.

Now perhaps there's a clue in that?

Haven`t we just taken £100M out of the pension fund, that was already in the red shit ?

I think it's been suggested by someone else that they'll use other reeserves - if available - to keep funding the CSPS pension requirement

& use the NI Fund to helicopter money to those sudddenly out of work

Where necessary grants for businesses will come from will be very interesting to see

In the current position we are in if the best you can come up with is calling the Chief Minister a toad then you a truly a sad git.   He is facing a challenge that is unprecedented and all the idiots come out to criticise from the comfort of their homes most who have never had a challenge other than what colour socks to wear. Disgusting, how about pulling together until this ordeal is over ?
